WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Chris Wright, a top Trump donor and founder of the oilfield services firm Liberty Energy, garnered enough votes in the U.S. Senate on Monday to become U.S. energy secretary.
As voting continued, Wright had support from least 51 senators, enough to secure confirmation in the 100-seat chamber.
