Oct 6 (Reuters) – ArriVent BioPharma said on Tuesday its therapy to treat patients with a type of lung cancer did not meet the main goal in a late-stage trial.
The company’s shares were halted in premarket trading.
ArriVent’s therapy, firmonertinib, failed to meet the requirement for progression-free survival in previously untreated patients with a type of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
NSCLC is the most common type of lung cancer and accounts for about 85% of all lung cancer cases.
